stars in Penglai, China 2012

120 “Leaders of the Next Generation” from the People’s Republic and from all over the world met in Penglai, the small coastal town of China’s economically strong province of Shandong.Together with outstanding leaders and experts, such as Abrati Abdruashti, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Nobuyuki Idei, former Chairman of Sony, and Joseph Deiss, President of the 65th Session of the UN General Assembly, they discussed China- and Asia-specific, as well as global challenges in the economy, politics and society. Once again stars proved to be an excellent platform to exchange views and opinions, and to learn from each other beyond cultural backgrounds and disciplines.
