Since the violent explosion in Beirut three months ago, Lebanon has found no peace. The blast came at a difficult time for Lebanon, which is not only trying to curb the spread of the coronavirus but is also mired in an unprecedented economic crisis which has pushed half the population below the poverty line. In this webinar, we talked with stars Alumna Dr. Zeina MOHANNA, Board Member of the Lebanese NGO Amel Association International, about the humanitarian situation on the ground and how Lebanon is trying to get back on its feet.
Lebanon urgently needs help to meet its growing humanitarian needs including food, first aid and health support. Amel Association International has launched a fundraising campaign to help the victims of the blasts in Beirut and the most vulnerable populations who have been suffering from the severe health and socio-economic crisis.
