Dear stars alumni

We are very pleased to invite you to our next stars Switzerland alumni chapter meeting.

In light of ongoing digitalisation and innovation in the field of currency and money, the Swiss National Bank SNB considers it important to participate in international work on Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). Several countries are exploring CBDC, and some countries have already piloted or even issued CBDC. Why are central banks interested in this topic? What are the lessons learned so far, what are the open questions and problems, and where does the SNB stand on these issues?

The programme of Wednesday, 24 April 2024 will be as follows:

• 20.30: End of chapter meeting
