Yuval Noah HARARI has repeatedly mentioned and written that technology is the greatest challenge of humanity, he has even stated in the last Forum in Davos (2020), that technology risks dividing the world. Today, we are facing the biggest pandemic of the last 100 years, where digital technologies have adopted a key role on a daily basis. At the same time, we are confronted by enormous challenges such as the advantages and disadvantages of the concentration of digital power, cybersecurity failure and the most critical scenarios of digital infrastructure collapses.
Latin America has been no exception and is already discussing and presenting projects regarding how economic and social recovery and transformation can be achieved. stars Alumnus Pelayo COVARRUBIAS is talking about the challenges and opportunities in a post-pandemic Latin America.

stars Alumnus Pelayo COVARRUBIAS is a Business Engineer and MBA with extensive experience as a consultant to numerous companies and public organizations, in matters related to education, telecommunications, digital economy, concessions, transport and other sectors of the economy. He has led various projects at the University of Desarrollo, the city hall of Santiago, and many private companies. In 1999 he received the Young Leader of the Year award given by DF newspaper and today Pelayo is currently President of the Fundación País Digital and Director at University of Desarrollo and member of the board of many private and public companies. He also is founder and shareholder of Globe companies and he was the anchorman of the CNN program of Science, Technology and Innovation.
