The programme is designed to offer three parallel lenses: the corporate and policy environment in Mumbai, India’s manufacturing heartland in Pune, and the innovation and technology ecosystem in Bengaluru. Each city contributes a distinct dimension to the overarching question of where India stands today, and where it is heading by 2030.
Sunday, 17 January 2027 — Mumbai: Arrival
Delegates arrive in Mumbai throughout the day. The Tata Group hosting team will coordinate airport transfers to the hotel. The evening is reserved for a welcome dinner for all delegates who have arrived, providing an opportunity for introductions and orientation before the programme formally begins.

Monday, 18 January 2027 — Mumbai: Tata HQ and TCS
The programme opens with a visit to Bombay House, the historic headquarters of the Tata Group in South Mumbai, followed by an afternoon deep-dive at the TCS Executive Briefing Centre at Banyan Park. The evening offers a group dinner and guided exploration of South Mumbai.

Tuesday, 19 January 2027 — Mumbai: Industry, Government and Retail
The second day in Mumbai broadens from the Tata Group lens to the wider Mumbai business ecosystem. The morning features a roundtable with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Western Region, followed by an afternoon engagement with the Maharashtra State Government, and an evening retail experience at Zudio and Tata retail outlets.

Maharashtra State Government

IHCL — Taj Hotels
The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) is the hospitality arm of the Tata Group and one of Asia’s largest and most iconic hotel companies. Zudio — Trent Limited
Zudio is a fast-fashion retail brand operated by Trent Limited, the retail arm of the Tata Group. Pune
Tata Motors — Jaguar Land Rover India
Tata Motors is India’s largest automobile manufacturer and the owner of Jaguar Land Rover, acquired from Ford in 2008. The Pimpri facility in Pune serves as the company’s primary manufacturing and engineering hub in India, producing commercial vehicles, passenger cars, and electric vehicles. Serum Institute of India
The Serum Institute of India is the world’s largest vaccine manufacturer by volume, producing over 1.5 billion doses annually. Founded in 1966 by Cyrus Poonawalla in Pune, it produces vaccines for over 170 countries, including those for measles, polio, hepatitis B, and COVID-19 (under the Oxford-AstraZeneca partnership). Forbes Marshall
Forbes Marshall is a Pune-based precision engineering group with global operations across steam engineering, process instrumentation, and industrial automation. Nyanta University

Tata Electronics — Semiconductor Manufacturing
