The Circular Economy – a Must for Business Leaders

In this 30-minute webinar, Sisse Norman Canguilhelm, EVP at the Green Building Council Denmark and former Deputy Director of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, shares insights into the geopolitical dimensions of sustainability and the delicate balancing act around Greenland’s natural resources. She also explores the systemic shift from philanthropic to commercial interests and the importance of business viability. Additionally, Sisse highlights the success of the Kalundborg Industrial Symbiosis and discusses new legislation concerning the built environment, as well as Denmark’s investments in infrastructure that supports circular practices. Her long-term vision for the circular economy is a “Green GDP”—a model in which we “pay the actual price, the real costs of materials.
